How to Establish Trust - German Clients Conduct On-Site Review of Product Manufacturing Process

In early December, two meticulous German clients traveled thousands of miles specifically to visit innovaw's production facility. Their purpose was to conduct an on-site inspection of the product's entire manufacturing process. The product had already completed the design and process engineering phases and was currently undergoing review for the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

We accompanied the clients throughout their visit, guiding them through every production stage and the quality inspection procedures integrated throughout. Every process step and inspection was fully disclosed to the clients, transparently demonstrating the production and testing journey. We also emphasized the rationale behind the manufacturing logic, the validity of testing methods, and the meticulous quality control details throughout the entire process.

After a full day of in-depth observation and discussion, both parties jointly confirmed solutions to address the potential quality concerns. The clients expressed high recognition for our well-established manufacturing processes, rigorous quality management, and transparent, open approach.

During the subsequent experience review meeting, our engineer Kong remarked: “Product development is like playing chess—you must anticipate ten moves ahead. Every alteration in a process detail may accumulate into future quality risks. We must be more rigorous and meticulous, fully leverage FMEA tools, thoroughly understand each risk point, and establish tighter control plans.”
